Florilegium is thrilled to announce an exciting new chapter for Florilegium with the appointment of Magdalena Loth-Hill as our new leader. Having frequently performed with Florilegium for nearly a decade, Magdalena brings exceptional artistry and deep musical insight to the role, most recently showcased as solo violinist on our acclaimed recording Tra le fiamme with soprano Rowan Pierce (CCS 47625).
Florilegium is equally delighted to welcome Gabi Jones as a new core member. Gabi can be heard as our guest leader on our forthcoming Telemann recording, including the Double Concertos and the cantata Ino, to be released in conjunction with our next Wigmore Hall recital on 16 March 2026.
These two outstanding appointments signal an inspiring new phase for Florilegium. We look forward to sharing bold, imaginative programmes and fresh musical perspectives with audiences in the seasons ahead.
