The Choir of Merton College are joined by Florilegium and harpist Cecily Beer to bring festive spirit to Smith Square Hall, as part of the Sinfonia Square Christmas Festival. They will present a program of music celebrating two great British composers: Henry Purcell and Benjamin Britten, both born on St. Cecilia’s day, in the 50th anniversary of Britten’s death. Conducted from the podium by Benjamin Nicholas.
