Royal College of Music
Florilegium have been appointed Ensemble in Association at the Royal
College of Music. The appointment, for two years, will commence in September
2008.

Florilegium receives Edison Award
The most recent CD release, of Bach’s Cantatas with Johannette
Zomer, and Orchestral Suite No.2 with Ashley Solomon, has won the prestigious
Edison Award in Holland, in the baroque recordings category.

Ashley Solomon awarded Hans Roth Prize
The 2008 Hans Roth Prize was awarded to Florilegium’s Artistic
Director, Ashley Solomon, for his work in promoting and publicising the
music found in the musical archives of Bolivia, especially those of Moxos
and Chiquitos, and for his tireless efforts and assistance in helping
the native Bolivian Indian musicians grow in stature, improve their abilities
and increase their presence on the international stage.
